OTOH, I wouldn't be one of them because I refuse to do that testing without a paycheck, I refuse to give up my WoWS time to do testing that doesn't benefit my main account. I do agree that it might be good to add older people to the testing. A split of the USN cruiser line into a CL line and a CA line.
The cruiser line split was exactly what it appeared to be on the surface. But I can't agree with the second line of the second paragraph. Just a thought from an Old Horse Soldier. The cruiser line split told WG that the market was ripe for faster, FFA style games and, the CV change at 8.0 absolutely told you that too much change isn't a good thing as well.Įxpanding other modes is a good business decision ! But, you need to heed your value proposition you advertise with.WW2 naval combat.otherwise, we end up a kiddie arcade game and you will lose a portion of your older demographics. WG would do well to add "people like me" to the testing so as to not lose our age and cultural segment from this game. I won't play space battles or this Torpedo blast because I'm well out of grade school and came here because I like WW2 naval histories.Īnd, being well over 40, I understand the need to make money.
Many of us fear that game "modes" are actually marketing tests to change the basic game. The goal of the mode was definitely meant to be torpedo focus but the team is exploring other modes for the game so we are certainly looking for your thoughts and feedback!
